Our Family My name is Steve Hochman and I live with my three heroes: My wife, Sy, and my two daughters, Kayla (two years old) and Riley (five months old) in Rancho Santa Margarita, Ca. Sy is a HUGE part of my support team and my daughters are my motivation team! When I’m not taking O.C. residents’ bodies to the next level, I love to play with Kayla. (Riley is still too young to “play.”) Our favorite family activities are going for bike rides (I pull Kayla in her buggy) with our dog, Plato, swimming and playing tag.
My Background My passion for training started while lifting weights in high school during 1989. To help me excel while I was in sports, my parents hired a personal trainer. As a senior, I earned an athletic scholarship from the University of Miami. During my first year, I injured my knee and had ACL reconstruction. Because of my injury, I learned about rehabilitation that later enabled me to help others. During my college athletic career, I worked closely with several strength and conditioning coaches, including the U.S. Olympic Strength Coaches. Wow! I Have a Six Pack After playing college football, when I no longer needed to be 290 pounds, I decided to get as lean as possible. Being lean and in top physical condition was especially important because I wanted to compete in Ultimate fighting. Workouts for this sport were very different from football workouts. I trained less, but got super lean. In fact, I got something I never had before, a SIX PACK!!! A New Kick Butt Workout Every day people noticed my incredible results and asked what I was doing. With slight modifications, I created my 3-in-1 workout system that anyone can do and achieve the same results in half the time. Taking Personal Training to The Next Level After college, I was a trainer at 24 Hour Fitness. There were two important reasons why I stayed only a brief time and decided to go out on my own: - I was not able to train others using my amazing 3-in-1 Training System.
- The rates that large chain gyms charge for Personal Training is ridiculous.
The Name Just Sort of Made Sense In 1998, I started Next Level Fitness in Mission Viejo, California. I rented space in a private fitness center. I used my 3-in-1 Training System and my clients got amazing results. Because of this, I believed Next Level Fitness was going to be big. As the demand of my 3-in-1 Training System increased, I hired and trained other trainers on my system and we quickly outgrew the space I rented. Next Level Fitness Rocks Irvine In 2001 we opened a new breed of Personal Training facilities. My vision was to open a Personal Training Facility with no memberships and where clients could get amazing results in half the time – and make it the best in Orange County! With over 40 Personal trainers, our rapid growth and popularity even surprised me. Today, men and women in Orange County who train at Next Level Fitness work out half as many hours and are getting better results then ever using our system. In fact, every time someone raves about Next Level Fitness, I want to do back flips. I will never stop appreciating our clients. They constantly make my day! Bring it! The key to success is being passionate about what you do. For me, it’s being fit and showing others how to get fit because this affects every aspect of your life in a positive way. You’re either improving your health and fitness or you’re not. Every day when you look in the mirror and see incredible results, this gives you motivation to accomplish anything. What's Next? I currently have two goals: - Maintain balance and continue being a great husband to my wife and father to my daughters.
- Continue to provide our clients, trainers and staff with heaping amounts of positive energy and the feeling of family and community, while generating amazing health and fitness results for them.
And our goal for the near future is to open several Next Level Fitness Centers throughout Orange County to meet – and exceed – the intense demand. Call 800-607-9339 or fill out the form below to schedule your FREE, NO RISK PERSONAL TRAINING WORKOUT and get lean today!
