The Big Fitness Myth About Hard Work |
A lot of people will tell you that the secret to success is hard work. This is repeated so often that we assume it’s true. But you hear this advice all the time from people who don’t necessarily work hard themselves, yet are very successful.
So let me give you another big secret. By the way, this secret absolutely holds true when it comes to fitness.
Here’s the secret: Successful people don’t think of what they do as “work.” They don’t “work hard” in the literal sense. What they do instead is “practice” and “train.”
So what’s the big difference?
You see, when successful people train, they become immersed in what they’re doing. They lose track of time. They get in “the flow.” And they never say things like, “Gee, I’m really working hard.”
